Our Team
The team
Each client is assigned a named contact, and the specialists behind them are on the same floor.

Yasunari Kuno, CPA
Chairman, Tokyo Consulting Group
A certified public accountant who leads Tokyo Consulting Group across its 26 markets. Sets the reporting standard each country office works to, which is what keeps a client's numbers comparable as they expand from one market into the next.

How your account is staffed
One contact, a team behind them
The named contact is the person you speak to. They are not the only person who knows your file — which is the part that matters.
A named contact, not a queue
You reach the same person each time, in your own language. Enquiries are answered within one business day, and where the answer needs research we say so rather than delaying.
The file is documented, not remembered
Every material judgement is written down with its basis. That is what protects you when a person moves on — the reasoning stays with the file rather than leaving with them.
Specialists, not generalists
A payroll question is answered by the payroll team and a transfer pricing question by the tax team. Your contact routes it; you do not have to know who to ask.
Head office hears the same answer
Where the parent company needs the position explained, our Japanese Management team states it in the parent’s own terms rather than translating literally.
Our teams
Rather than generalists covering everything shallowly, we run dedicated teams — and they work together on the same client.

The Turkish professions
Who is allowed to sign what
Türkiye separates these roles by law, and some combinations are prohibited. Knowing which is which saves an argument later about who should have done what.
- SMMMCertified Public Accountant
- Keeps the statutory books and signs tax returns. This is the adviser a company deals with month to month.
- YMMSworn-in Certified Public Accountant
- Issues tax certification reports — full certification and VAT refund reports among them. A YMM may not also keep the books for the same client.
- AuditorIndependent Auditor
- Registered with the Public Oversight Authority and signs the statutory audit opinion where audit is mandatory. Independence rules prevent the auditor from doing the bookkeeping.
- AvukatAttorney at law
- Bar-registered, and the only person who can represent the company in court. Joint stock companies above a capital threshold must retain one on a continuing basis.
We hold the day-to-day work in-house and coordinate the roles the law reserves to a separate professional — so nothing is signed by someone who should not be signing it.
